Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.

For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for one similar item, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you require a higher-quality token to reroll. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade item gear players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting stress on their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be used, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Also, when an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve a perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. These include the item type (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item upgrader kit in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
